Content & Moderation Policy

SharedChats is a curated index, not an open platform. Every entry is chosen by a human editor. This page explains what makes the cut and what never will.
What gets listed
- Conversations already shared publicly by their own authors on an AI provider's official share feature.
- Conversations that are interesting: technically impressive, funny, surprising, or educational.
- Conversations that can be read without harming anyone.
What never gets listed
- Conversations exposing personal data — names, health, finances, or private circumstances of identifiable people.
- Harassment or content targeting individuals or groups.
- Any sexual content involving minors — reported, never indexed.
- Instructions that meaningfully enable violence, exploitation, or serious harm.
Listing is not endorsement
An entry on SharedChats means an editor found the conversation worth reading — not that we agree with anything said in it, or vouch for its accuracy. Many listed conversations are interesting precisely because the AI gets things wrong.
Removal
Conversation authors, people mentioned in a conversation, and rights holders can request delisting by emailing hello@sharedchats.com. Valid requests are honored promptly. Entries whose source links die are also pruned over time.
